Mychron Information:

Brief walk through on how to update a Mychron5 660:

1. Be connected to the internet.

2. Open up RS3 software at the top right you will see a cloud. Click on that and it will open up a new screen. 

3. Right under the name tab there will be a white box that will a white box with name right next to it. Click in there, and it will allow you to uncheck all of the software that is checked.

4. Put a check mark in the RS3 box and then scroll down till you see michron5 660 and mychton5 660 v2. Put a check mark in both of those as well. then scroll back to the top and click on download that will start the download the new software to your laptop.

5.I would then start the update to the new software version of the race studio three. Once this has been completed reopen the race studio three software on your laptop and make sure everything is OK and then disconnect from any Wi-Fi.

6. You will need to now connect the michron5 to the race studio three software.

At this point, you can click on the cloud icon again at the top right of the software and then at the top you will see a button for update device and then you can go in there and update the mychrons firmware.
